I was hesitant at first but didn't really enjoy meal trains (though thoughtful) when Pp with first baby. For our second signed up before she was due and was able to move the food delivery date whenever she came. It's really easy and convenient .
No commitment and u won't get boxes ur not ready for.
I won't call myself picky but I am particular, and found myself even eating veggies I wouldn't really eat- like Brussels sprouts, bell peppers, quinoa. My husband likes it because they break it down in recipes so he saves ones he really likes. He says its like we're taking cooking classes at home.
Only downside I feel is the packaging. A lot of packaging as they need to and to make sure everything is fresh, so we just recycle the bags and boxes and what mom doesn't need ice packs.
Here's what I'm prepping for dinner tonight...
If there's something I can make early to save me time I do... And the recipe is detailed enough to let u know
So I'm making the coconut rice ahead of time- quite excited to see what it tastes like!
But they give u everything and it's pretty idiot proof. I can cook and cook from scratch but this takes the measuring, shopping, and brain work out of it. I'll take no brainer stuff for now while sleep deprived, but make great meals for the family and save $.
